    About SEKIYO

Sekiyo stands in Yugawara, among the lush Mt. Wakakusa.
The design incorporates elements of traditional Japanese architecture utilized in villas, and the main hall and the cottages are spread out over a gentle slope with rustic beauty.

The works of artists tied to this area and the carefully selected furniture craft a warm, refined space where Japanese culture and elegance are held in high regard.
You’ll be enchanted by the facilities that are coordinated with the seasons.

Yugawara is an incredibly famous hot springs area. The hot springs have clear, high quality water bubbling up at all hours, flowing into the bathtubs in each room and common baths.
We hope you enjoy the Japanese culture of the hot springs bath.

Japanese cooking that makes the most of its ingredients.
We offer food that will delight the senses, mainly centered on the blessings of both the local area’s land and sea.
We hope that you enjoy it with local sake, carefully selected to match the scents of the season and the flavors of the land.
